In the first movie, there is no prince. The prince character is filled by a General's son, Captain Li Shang. Mulan is never a princess. His name is Prince Chikee but he is no more than a teenager and doesn't even seem to care about girls, much less Mulan, whom he sees as 'old'.

In the movie "Mulan," the two weights symbolize the burden of expectations placed on Mulan by her family and society. One weight represents her duty to uphold her family's honor and tradition, while the other reflects her desire for personal freedom and self-identity. This duality underscores her internal struggle as she navigates the conflict between societal roles and her own aspirations. Ultimately, the weights illustrate the themes of duty versus individuality that are central to Mulan's journey.
