Arceus can only be legitimately achieved via a Nintendo event. In some countries Arceus was given out by Nintendo as part of a Mystery Gift. It is possible to hack an Arceus or hack it to activate the event that gives you the Azure Flute. To get it, talk to a person in a green suit next to any Pokémon mart once the event has been activated. Once the flute has been received, go to the Spear Pillar and you have the option to use the Azure flute to enter the Hall of Origin where you fight Arceus. You can't until the twelfth movie give away. You can get it with an action replay code or get it off the WiFi event. This is the action replay code. Arceus is at level 80 and the catch rate is 3% so a master balll is your bigest hope of catching it and Fighting is the only move which is super effective against Arceus Hope it works!!!!!! What do you do if you are trying to get arceus in Pokemon Platinum but it won't work?
It wont appear because Action replay codes such as events don't work for that game. I have Pokemon platinum and only a few codes do work, you get the event item but they do not work.

Here are 2 possibilities why it may not be working:You may have already used the Azure Flute previously.You are not at the top of Mt. Coronet/entrance of Spear Pillar.The Azure Flute should always work on the first attempt or you had a corrupted code that makes the game assume you already used it. Check the two possibilities and try again.

I cant remember which legendary it is but go to spear pillar in platinum with the azure flute obtained through mystery gift (cheats wont work) then use it on the strange looking platform a staircase will appear fight arceus catch him trade him and u get a giratina ( i checked google) hoklding the griseous orb so it will be origins

you need to go to the spear pillar and stand on the thing that has a picture of a flute and press a then a shining staircase will appear go up it and you will see arceaus. wont work.
