If Ash or another trainer were to catch Mewtwo in Pokemon the First Movie would it being caught change its mindset or would it be completely rebelious towords the trainer?

It depends on the strength and ability of the trainer. It's how it works in the games anyway; the better you are and the more gym badges you have, the higher the level of Pokemon that obey you.

In the movie, mewtwo is very strong, and he's probably quite a high level. Also, Ash is quite young (as it's the first movie) and he doesn't have many badges.

So I'm guessing (based on the way Pokemon obedience works in games) that he would be rebelious towards Ash. If a very experienced trainer caught it, it probably wouldn't.

However, based on what you see in the films.. I'm guessing he would be rebelious towards every trainer. Mewtwo despises humans having control over Pokemon.
