Clearing up some possible confusion - Soul Exchange doesn't 'take' monsters, nor does it do anything to them on resolution, except for set up a condition that says you can tribute it as if it was one of your own.

You tribute it therefore in exactly the same way as if it were on your side of the field. There is nothing stopping you tributing it, and a monster on your side of the field, to summon a Lv7 or higher monster. In fact if you used 2 Soul Exchanges, you could summon a Lv7+ monster with both of them.

Yes you can. Since the tribute summon doesn't have to happen immediately after the resolution of the first soul exchange, you can activate a second one to be able to tribute 2 monsters.

What is a tribute monster?

Taken from the Official English Rulebook: ...However, for Monsters that are Level 5 or higher, you must Tribute at least 1 monster you control before the Normal Summon. This is called a Tribute Summon. Monsters that are Level 5 or 6 require 1 Tribute and Monsters that are Level 7 or higher require 2 Tributes. Monsters that are Tributed are sent to the Graveyard and the "Tribute Monster" you are Summoning is played in face-up Attack position or face-down Defense position (a.k.a. a "Set").

Examples of tribute?

If you have a level five or higher monster in your hand, you can tribute one or more monster(s) on your side of the field to play it. If a card's cost/flaw (ex.mystic wolk:tribute one monster. Gain life points equal to the original attack of the tributed monster) activates, that tributes as well.

What does Tribute Summon mean on the 'Zombie World' Field Spell Card?

A Tribute Summon is the "Normal Summon" of Level 5 or higher monsters. To Normal Summon these cards, you must first Tribute monsters on your side of the field. To Tribute Summon a Level 5 or 6 monster, you must Tribute one monster. To Tribute Summon a Level 5-12 monster, you must Tribute two monsters. To Set a Level 5 or higher monster, you must still follow the same guidelines concerning Tributes as stated above.A Tribute Summon is treated as a Normal Summon (however, some monsters state specific ones, such as the Monarch series). Therefore, you can generally only Tribute Summon or Tribute Set once during each turn (it also counts towards your Normal Summon limit). It is also important to note that Tributing a monster is considered a Cost for a Tribute Summon or Tribute Set. Because it is a Cost, if the Tribute Summon is negated by a card effect, the Tributed monster does not return to the field. For more information regarding Tribute Summoning and Tribute Sets, click on the appropriate "Related Links" below.

In Yu-Gi-Oh what does tribute summon mean?

No, because Tribute Summon is treated as a Normal Summon. Monsters that require tribute for a special summon (Toon monsters, Destiny Hero Plasma) are still Special Summons, not Tribute Summons.

How do you tribute in Yu-Gi-Oh?

To tribute a card, you must send it from your own side of the field, to your graveyard. If cards like Macro Cosmos are in play, then the tributed card goes out of play - Macro Cosmos does not prevent you from tributing. You must have a 'reason' to tribute the card, either for the summon of a higher level monster, or the activation of another card, etc. You cannot tribute something for no reason, nor can you tribute a card you do not control unless specifically directed to by something like Soul Exchange. Lastly, tribute is from the field, unless stated otherwise, ie, Ritual Summons.

How many Yu-Gi-Oh monsters do you need to tribute for high level monsters?

You need to tribute one monster for the tribute summon of a Lv5 or 6 monster, and two tributes for any that are Lv7 or higher, even Lv10 ones like Yubel. Additionally, some monsters require three tributes (Obelisk the Tormentor, for example), but that is stated on the card, and it not related to the level.

Can you summon the five headed dragon with the spell advance force?

No, Advance Force lets you Tribute Summon a Lv7 or higher monster. Tribute Summoning is a form of Normal Summoning, so the summoned monster is one from your hand. It in no way allows you to start pulling monsters from the Extra Deck - it can't special summon at all.

What is the difference between Normal Summoning a Level 4 or lower monster and a Level 5 or higher monster?

Not a lot, really. Normally a Lv5+ monster will need one or two tributes, depending on actual level, and this is called a Tribute Summon, which is still just a regular Normal Summon. However some cards let you ignore that, like Blackwing - Sirocco the Dawn can under some circumstances be Normal Summoned without tribute. Basically a Normal Summon is a Normal Summon, whether it required tribute or not.

How many monster to tribute to summon a level 9 or higher monster?

As per the basic rulebook, you need two tributes for monsters of Lv7+. Some high level monsters have rules text to say they require three tributes, but these are exceptions. In the case of monsters like Yubel (Lv10) they still only require two tributes.
