Frankenstein is a scientist who creates a monster in his lab in Geneva. When the monster comes to life it seeks attention and love. However that is not what he received. Instead of love he got hate and resentment. He was chased away by the villagers who threw stone and rocks at him. He ran away to the forest thinking and hoping he would be loved by the creatures there. The monster found a cottage as to where a blind girl and her brother lived. He helped the girl bring in fire wood. He just wanted to be accepted by mankind. The girl was grateful that the monster had helped her but when her brother saw the monster he shot him without a second thought. From that point on he knew there was place for him in the world and that mankind could not ever accept him for who he was. Yet he searched for someone who could be his companion. He found William; Frankenstein's brother. William refused to go with the monster and said that his brother would take revenge. The monster could not take this and so he killed William. The monster then went to Frankenstein and explained his story to him, he begged for a companion and someone to love. Frankenstein agreed to make another creature like the monster. But Frankenstein's assistant, Clerval and his cousin, Elizabeth discovered what he was making and destroyed it. Unfortunately the monster came to save his companion and killed everyone except Frankenstein.
