When you open up a custom part toolbox (they aren't essential to building your project), you can add a custom part to your project. Custom parts look cool on your project and can sometimes even help you win the game. However, custom part toolboxes are extremely hard to find. You need to either be very observant when you walk through the worlds, or create the last upgrade to your x-ray glasses (they can show custom part toolboxes on the mini-map when you upgrade them to the final upgrade). Still, even when you see them on the mini-map, you might still have to be very observant in order to get to their position or have your other items upgraded.

You can get to the roof top from 2-3. Instead of getting in the spaceship at the end of 2-3, take the fixed car up to the next level. Wait for the blue ladder on the left. Go to the left & across on the red & blue balloons. Go up the stairs it will lead you to through toolbox. You will have to cross the balloons to get to the other rooftop where you will have to activate the red switch, then go back and get the toolbox.
After you beat Phineas and Ferb ride again can you ever be Perry again?

When you get to the very top of the mounatin, there is a tunnel. Go through the tunnel and fix the ski lift to the left. Go across and you will see the toolbox and the switch you need to use to get it. Get the stuff in the box with the gold stuff in it. Yuo will need the stuff later on. Then you fix the elevator platform across from the toolbox. Go down on the platform and then keep going left until you get to another ski lift. go up the ski lift and then fix the green ski lift behind the one you just used. Go on the green ski lift. Then go left and fix the next red ski lift (A lot of ski lifts were used!). Go on the red ski lift. Then go left again and fix the elevator platform. Go down on the platform and to the left will be the switch you need to open the gate blocking the toolbox. Get on Ferb's shoulders and activate the switch. Then the gates will open and you will be able to get the toolbox. Ta-da!
