You cannot catch a Lugia in Pearl or Diamond but if you are still interested in getting one you can either: 1. Buy Pokemon XD and catch (and it's simple it only took me 3 days :). 2. Hack in GBA or DS game for one. 3. Obtain in trade (GTS in Jubilife) with someone who thinks your good trade is worth its while. 4. Get from Mystery Gift and receive Lugia from the Poke Mart.

∙ 9y agoLugia is a Water and Psychic type legendary Pokemon. One can be found in the second generation games and their remakes. In Pokemon Emerald and FireRed and LeafGreen, one can be obtained through a Nintendo event. In all other Pokemon games, Lugia can only be obtained by trading.
