From my experience dueling there has been a few machine synchros that stood above the others.

#1 Ally of Justice Catastor

reason: Easy to synchro, can destroy certain decks with it's effect plus has a fair attack for a level 5 monster.

#2 Power-Tool Dragon

Reason: Once synchro you can obtain a random assortment of equip cards you might have in your deck, invincible if it has at least one equip card equipped, fair attack strenght.

#3 Armory Arm

Reason: Well though Armory arm is weak for a synchro it's effect makes it worth it since it can equip it's self to an other monster so it gains 1000 attack plus any monster destroy by a monster equipped by armory arm damages it's controller's life points equal to it's attack.

#4 Genex Ally Triforce / Genex Ally Triarm

Now Triforce and Triarm can cause havoc cause of their great assortment of effects that can make either fit into almost any deck depending on the monsters used to synchro for them.

#5 Ally of justice light gazer

For me it deserved spot #5 cause it is easy to synchro plus it has a fairly high attack that gets higher if you opponents has light monsters in his graveyard.

Well that is all.

Hope it helps.

The answer to this question is a matter of personal preference. However, most Players prefer to utilize Synchro Monsters as they are much easier to Summon and less specific on the resources used; the Levels of the monsters only must match the Level of the Synchro Monster. They require a Tuner Monster and tend to use more resources to Summon, thus giving the opponent Hand and Field Advantage. Likewise, they also tend to have more powerful and rewarding effects than Fusion Monsters. Synchro Monsters are also much more flexible as many of them do not require specific cards or card-types; only a Tuner and other monsters. Therefore, those cards can usually be included in any Deck that contains a Tuner Monster.

Fusion Monsters on the other hand, require specific cards to be used in the Fusion Summoned and requires the Spell Card Polymerization. However, they do not require many resources, most using only two monsters. They also tend to not have as useful effects as Synchro Monsters, or not have any effects at all. Fusion Monsters also usually need to be included in a specific Deck that contains its Fusion Materials. For example, there would be no point in adding a Gaia the Dragon Champion in your Extra Deck if you do not have a Gaia the Fierce Knight, Curse of Dragon,or a Fusion-substitute monster.

In effect, Synchro Monsters are used much more frequently in tournaments than Fusion Monsters, despite the fact that Fusion Monsters have been around for a greater period of time.

In the card game Yu-Gi-Oh is a Special Summon and Synchro Summon the same thing?

Somewhat, yes. A synchro does not count for you Normal Summon for the turn. This means that you can do multiple Synchro summons in one turn. But if you are implying that a Synchro Summon can be usd for a card effect triggerd by or that needs a special summon, then a Synchro summon will not count. ^That's a bit vague. Synchro Summons will most certainly trigger/count towards effects that look for Special Summons - case in point, Bottomless Trap Hole, which can respond to a Synchro Summon because it is a kind of Special Summon. Special Summon is the default, and then you have special types, like Fusion Summon and Synchro Summon. Anything that looks for a Special Summon, will trigger from any of those. However if it only triggers from a Synchro Summon, then only a Synchro Summon will do, not a regular Special Summon.

How do you summon Synchro Monsters?

Synchro Monsters can be summoned from the Extra Deck (formally known as the Fusion Deck) by a Synchro Summon.A Synchro Summon can only be performed with one Tuner Monster and one or more face-up, non-Tuner monsters you control (with XX-Saber Gottoms as the exception, who can be Synchro Summoned with more than one Tuner Monster). You can tell if a monster is a Tuner by looking at the card type and seeing "/Tuner" next to it. For example, you can tell Junk Synchron is a Tuner since its card text shows "[Warrior/Tuner]".In order to Synchro Summon a Synchro Monster, the Levels of the monsters used must equal the Level of the Synchro Monster. For example, Gaia Knight - the Force of the Earth is a Level 6 Synchro Monster. That means Junk Synchron, a Level 3 monster, would need a monster(s) whose Level equals 3 to Synchro Summon that Synchro Monster (or any other Level 6 Synchro Monster for that matter). Once you have met the requirements, you can send the monsters from the field to the Graveyard and Synchro Summon the Synchro Monster (this still counts as a Special Summon).Just remember, unlike Gaia Knight - the Force of the Earth, who doesn't have any specific requirements besides a combined Level of 6, some other Synchro Monsters do. Some require specific Types, Attributes, Archetypes or monsters to be used.

What is the highest attack on a yu gi oh card that's permanent?

The highest original (printed) ATK of any YuGiOh! Card is 5000 ATK. This can be found on 5 different cards - 3 Dragon-type monsters and 2 Machine-type monsters: 1) Dragon Master Knight (Dragon/Fusion/Effect - 5000 ATK/DEF) 2) Malefic Truth Dragon (Dragon/Effect - 5000 ATK/DEF) 3) Five-Headed Dragon (Dragon/Fusion/Effect - 5000 ATK/DEF) 4) Rocket Arrow Express (Machine/Effect - 5000 ATK/0 DEF) 5) Superdimensional Robot Galaxy Destroyer (Machine/Xyz/Effect - 5000 ATK/2000 DEF) Notably there has never been a 5000 ATK Synchro Monster, and also notable is that the Dragon-type 5000 ATK monsters have greater DEF than the Machine-types.

Have yo gi oh cards changed?

Konami has recently added Synchro Monsters to the list of cards. Also, they have changed the Fusion Deck to an "Extra Deck" to accomodate the new Synchro Monsters. They have also released Psychic and Divine-Beast as new Monster Types and DIVINE as a new Attribute. A newly released game type is a Turbo Duel. Along with that come Speed Spells which can only be used in a Turbo Duel.

Is upperdeck bringing out new types of yugioh cards called Synchro Psychic and tuner monsters?

yes, Synchro Monsters are new cards that when having the right cards on the field allows you to synchro summon them from your extra deck(fusion deck). Psychic is a new type of mpnster that have effects that negate cards through monster effects by paying lifepoints, and some give you life points. Tuner monsters are considered normal and effect monsters and when on the field allows you to release(sacrifice) one tuner monster and one or more non-tuner monsters that allow you to synchro summon a synchro monster from your deck. Example: I have a face up Junk Synchron(Tuner) Lv. 3 and a face up defense speed warrior(Non-tuner) Lv. 2. I release both to synchro summon Junk Warrior Lv. 5. So basically you release a tuner and a non-tuner whose stars add up to the level of the synchro monster you want to summon. One more thing there are new rules as well. First off, 40 cards are the minimum amount of cards you can have and 60 is the max. Second, some terms have been changed; sacrifice is changed to release, tribute summon is changed to advance summon, and fusion deck is changed to advance summon. The third rule is that instead of having 15 cards even in your side deck, you can have 14 or even one. So its not set to a certain number but no more than 15. The last rule is that you can only have 15 cards in your extra deck and you can't go over that limit. Sucks for elemental heroes, i mean they weren't that good before but this just kills the people that like to use lots of fusion.

In Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's Stardust Accelerator how to synchro summon?

The conditions for Synchro Summoning are the same as in real life:You must have a face-up Tuner monster and non-Tuner monster(s) on your side of the field. The combined levels of the monsters must equal that of the Synchro Monster you want to Synchro Summon from your Extra Deck.If there are any specific monsters or types of monsters listed on the Synchro Monster, that/ those monster/ monsters must be face-up on the field.Once the above conditions are met, you must:Select your Extra Deck, then select "Activate".From there, you will see a window pop up of the possible monster(s) to Synchro Summon. Select one of the Synchro Monsters. Now select which cards on your side of the field to send to the Graveyard; they will have an outline around them. After a short animation, select if you want you Syncho Monster to appear on the field in face-up attack or defense position and you will Synchro Summon your Synchro Monster.
