No, you can catch them without masterballs... It's just really hard. They need to be asleep/frozen/paralyzed and with as little health as possible.

Depends on your batting average. if your batting below a .250 your not doing anything for your game. To be a master batter you must be batting at or above a .500 average. I'll tell you what is really bad for your health though; whacking off.

Yes but it would be really hard i tried and got him into yellow health and the Pokeball didnt shake once so you have to get him into the red health

you'll have 2 get the event (hg and ss only) of the latios and latias or trade them from heartgold or soulsilver. it is found i soulsilver really.
