He was supposed to be Harry's protector, but he didn't do it so some Dementors attacked Harry and his cousin Dudley and then Harry used magic to make a Patronus which made him nearly get expelled from Hogwarts.

∙ 12y agoBefore Mrs. Figg said this, Harry had fought off a couple of dementors. Mrs. Figg was very angry because Mundungus was supposed to be keeping an eye on Harry, which he failed to do.
