There are about 80 leitmotifs used for The Lord of the Rings soundtrack by Howard Shore. A way to categorize it, is that they are written for different settings. You have a theme for The Shire and the Hobbits, heard in the beginning of the movie, which follows Frodo and Sam all. through the movies when they remember or miss the Shire. The instruments used and the length of the theme is variated according to setting, but always recognizable.
Another leitmotif is the Gondor theme. It is played by two French horns in FOTR, when Boromir talks about Gondor at the council of Elrond, and it returns in the ending credits for The Two Towers played by a full orchestra, and is used a lot in the third movie, when we are in Minas Tirith or Aragorn talks about Gondor.
Hope this helped!
You must be thinking of some other book. The word Princess is never used in The Lord of the Rings.
Sprite AI is used with the games, but I don't know that it was used in the actual movies.
Mordor is a fiction based land that was created by J.R.R. Tolkien as the place of operation for Sauron. It is commonly recognized for being used in The Lord of the Rings.
There were three hobbits that carried the ring, unless you wish to count Gollum: * Bilbo * Frodo * Sam Bilbo and Frodo took the boat with Gandalf to the Undying Lands in the West. Legend has it that Sam eventually went as well.
Unfortunately, yes! If you go to where the set of Edoras used to be in New Zealand, you will just see a big plain surrounded by mountains.

There were originally over 40 rings made for the Lord of the Rings trilogy by Jens Hansen and his son after one design was chosen from fifteen, at the end of the films, one was given to Elijah Wood and one to Andy Serkis, while they were both told they each had the one ring... the others were supposedly destroyed and one is possibly still in the possesion of the original ring makers in New Zealend. Replicas of the rings used can be purchased from Jens Hansen online or in store.

A repeated melodic or rhythmic patterns are called motifs. These snipits reached their zenith in the music of Richard Wagner, who used "leitmotifs" to symbolize characters, ideas, and even objects like swords, rings, and geographic landmarks.
many producers use leitmotifs which are phrases that signal something for example: jaws when the shark is coming it plays the same music every time wagner uses leitmotifs for characters and for feelings such as love he also has some that signal forshadowing such as: trouble coming
