There is no definite time when that happens since it happened throughout the book starting with William by accident, then Justine after being framed, then Clerval after victor broke a promise, then is newly wedded wife, Elizabeth, his father from grief caused by the monster, then kills himself after Frankenstein dies.

Why is Frankensteins face green?

Well, Frankenstein's monster's face is actually described as an unhealthy gray color in the book. In order to make the first movie they had to paint the actor green to make the appearance of the right gray on the black and white televisions. It seems to have stuck, and now Frankenstein's monster is green.

Who is Frankensteins creator?

In the original novel by Mary Shelley, published in 1818, the man who creates a monster is named Victor Frankenstein. His creation has no name, symbolizing that he has no soul, no family, no identity. In many renditions of the story -- starting with plays just a few years after the novel and including the 1931 film starring Boris Karloff -- the creature has no name. But almost immediately, as if to fill in the void, the name "Frankenstein" was used to name the monster. Read more about the twists and turns of the monster's name in Susan Tyler Hitchcock's book, Frankenstein: A Cultural History.
