For 2-5 players. Ages 5 and up.
Contents
6 frogs (each has a different colored base: red, yellow, orange, blue, purple and white)
7 stone cards
18 water lily cards in 6 colors (3 flowers of each color)
Object of the game
Each frog has a different colored base. If the frog you're playing with matches with the lily pad flower, you can keep the lily pad. The player who collects the most lily pads wins.
Preparation
Space the 7 stones out in the middle of the table to form a large circle. Mix up the frogs and randomly place each frog on a stone. One stone remains unoccupied. Mix up all the lily pads and place them flower side down, inside the stone circle. Then turn over one lily pad to reveal the flower.
The frog hopping begins!
The first player starts by choosing a frog and shows everyone the colour beneath it. This player should also say the color out loud before hopping it to the unoccupied stone.
If the frog has the same color base as the turned over flower, you win the lily pad and plae it in front of you. Then you get to go again. Turn over another lily pad and select another frog to hop to the free stone. Your turn continues until you are unable to make a color match.
When the frog doesn't match the turned over flower, then your turn is over and play continues in a clockwise direction.
End of the game
The game ends when all the lily pads have been collected. Everyone counts how many they have and the winner is the player with the most lily pads.
