Disney World is probably one of the least dangerous locations on the face of the Earth. Disney has a LOT of security, including much you will likely never notice. Disney World has averaged about one death per year since it opened, which is not bad given an attendance of 52 million visitors annually.
That said, it's not perfectly safe. If you do something really foolish (either because you're a kid and don't know any better or you're an adult fool) you could be killed.
