As a former Disney employee I can say that courtesy is always emphasized by the company. At the resort, all employees are expected to smile and treat the guests with the upmost politeness. Disney employees carry around reference guides so they can be helpful to any puzzled guest. They are constantly answering questions about times and locations in a friendly manner. Disney employees are even instructed to never point, a rude gesture. Instead they either gesture with the whole hand or with two fingers.
Approach any Disney cast member and you are sure to find a courteous individual wearing a large grin!
