Emerson Burr was "The Pony Man". He managed the Fairfield County Hunt Club for 50+ years and was famous for matching ponies to their riders.
Burr is still alive, although he is suffering from Multiple Sclerosis. He has been confined to a wheelchair for at least the last 8 years.Update: Sadly, Clive has since passed away.
