Since the group Old Man's Child is identified as a Black Metal Rock Band, by definition, they are a Gothic occult group. Certain band's actually have stated that they worship Satan, having emphasis on Satanic lyrics and imagery such as such as Venom, Bathory (forefathers of Black Metal), Hellhammer, and Celtic Frost.
Black Metal is generally disdained among much of the music culture, because many of its philosophy of hatred of man and its Anti-Christian ideology. A number of its proponents have been involved with church burnings, murder, and National Socialism, the ideology of Hitler's Nazism. With the shrieking vocal sounds and acid rock accompaniment, it is not what many consider music.
The Bible does talk about decadent music: "It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools." Ecclesiastes 7:5. Too many Christian churches today are weak on their stand for godly music. It's a touchy subject, among youth especially, but it has to be determined by the individual as to where their values and loyalty reside.
