While Santa is not found in The Bible, he is not found in Christianity with the exception of the fact that he is based on a saint, the giving spirit that is found in Santa and during the Christmas holidays in general is also found in the Bible and it is a characteristic of Jesus himself. According to Christian beliefs, Jesus gave up his life for you and I. That was the ultimate gift, the ultimate sacrifice.
Furthermore, Santa Claus is whatever one makes of him. To each person, he comes off a different way. Though television has done a lot of work for people on who Santa is, what Santa does, and what Santa is like, it does not make it true for anyone and how they believe Santa to be.
