Well both of them is the same really...
You can catch Ho-Oh and Lugia on both.
Ho-Oh is a flying/fire pokemon
Lugia is a flying/physic pokemon
neither of these are known as dragon pokemon just legendary.

you can only catch a Growlithe on heart gold I think. I will try it out and edit this latter.
If you want to know more about Growlithe go to here:

overall I have played both and soul silver i have stuck to more. It should be your choice.
There both the same, just some Pokemon appear more in Soulsilver than in Heartgold, same with Heartgold to Soulsilver. Also, Lugia, in Soulsilver, is level 45 when you find it, but in Heartgold you find him level 70, in Soulsilver Ho-oh is 70, but in Heartgold, he is 45. There is VERY little difference's between the two games. Also, not to be mean, but you spelled silver in Soulsilver wrong.
It depends, do you want a stronger Ho-Oh (SoulSilver) or Lugia (HeartGold)Kyogre (HeartGold) or Groudon (SoulSilver)Latios (SoulSilver) or Latias (HeartGold)There the same except for certain Pokemon.I prefer Heart Gold But everyone Has opinion.By jackie0305I prefer Soul Silver cuz Lugia kicks butt and i think most people don't want a flying demented chicken in their Pokemon party... just sayin'. but it really matters what you think because it all depends weather you train the Pokemon in the game so they meet your expectations.I agree I have soulsilver and it's awesome, and I just beat Red!neither, HG has ho-oh/better attack SS has lugia/better defense just choose the one u like betterSoul Silver Because Lugia Looks Cooler That Ho Oh> Ithink it depends on what types of Pokemon you like, i got soul silver but i like fire type Pokemon so i should have got heart gold, but soul silver still has some fire type Pokemon.
The cast of Better Than Gold - 1923 includes: Gertrude Olmstead as Kate Norris Roy Stewart as Phil Barton
You know, this is a hard choice for everyone. If you've played the GBA games, the DS ones are way different but a little less fun. I haver Diamond (Which is A LOT like Platinum) and Soul Silver. And me? Well, I personally like Soul Silver better. It is way more entertaining than Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. They can get boring, but Soul Silver and Heart Gold are cool and fun. Hope I helped! :)
Technically....no. Unless you buy a supercard such as the DSone with the latest EOS firmware, in which case you can use your own cheat files for heartgold, soulsilver....and over 2500 games (more than AR, and more cheats / game ). Hope this helps ;)
No.Heart gold has a couple more Pokemon than soul silver
HeartGold and SoulSilver are basically the same game with minor differences such as wild Pokemon and specific items. Most people say that soul silver is beter but i think heart gold because ho oh is more rarer than lugia since lugia is more popular
No heart gold is better. #1- Heart gold has two regions and a battle fronteir #2- Heart gold has some new features that are much better than platinum Hope this helped
Pokemon Soul Silver is not harder than Heart Gold because they are the same game but they have different pokemon.
u have got to pick soul silver 1: Lugia is by far better than Ho-OH 2: By picking heart gold u have to get through the tower, which personally i think is harderthan getting through the cave for Lugia. 3: soulsilver is just more popular because everyone buys the first game e.g. Diamond and Pearl. Diamond was popular Heart gold and soul silver. Heart gold was popular Black and White. white WILL be popular hope this helped p.s. i picked pearl and regretting it
it depends what Pokemon you prefer, like if you want your lugia to be stronger than your ho-oh, get heartgold because it will be lvl 70 but in soulsilver it will be lvl 45. it depends on other Pokemon but you can just look them up.
Yes.

heartgold is better because lugia is stronger in heartgold and lugia is stronger than ho-oh
Soulsilver is way better because Ho-Ho has to flap its wings to fly, and Lugia doesnt flinch its wings.
Because gold is better than yellow
They are exactly the same except for you catch Lugia at level 4 in SoulSilver and you catch Ho-Oh at level 40 again in HeartGold. Otherwise, they are the same difficulty.
