Yes. A wand is a stick.
A Pagan Perspective
A wand is a tool, used by practitioners of magic to focus and direct energies they have raised for a specific purpose.
The type of wood, metal, and/or crystals used in the wand will help determine the best "type" of magic it can be used for. This is why many practitioners have more than one wand.
If you would like to see pictures of all of the wands in the Harry Potter movies, I would suggest looking at pictures of the replicas made by The Noble Collection. They have recreated replicas of many of the main characters wands from the Harry Potter series and have them up for sale on their website. You can view closeups of all of them there. The page can be found at http://www.noblecollection.com/catalog/catalog.cfm?catid=21

Yes, Harry Potter does like Ginny Weasley. In fact, they get married ini the epiloge in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is followed by the fourth book, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

well why dont you try looking instead of waiting for an unnacurate answer like mine
I wouldn't recommend putting your replica in any kind of liquid, because replicas are meant to be treasures like a object to look at not play with.
Note that Harry Potter is a fictitious story. Young wizards typically buy their first wands at a specialist shop (like Ollivander's) around the age of 11 right before they first head off to a school like Hogwarts. (I suspect that they are home-schooled before that time to learn things like calculations (with sickles, knuts, etc) and things like house chores) This is the wand they will have for their entire life. They will only get another wand when the one they have is seriously damaged or stolen.
Ginny Weasley.
It is suggested in the books that the wands themselves do not differ in power, but the power lies with the wizard or witch controlling them. It is known though that Hermione's wand does not work as well when Harry is controlling it, this also applies to Hermione if she uses Harry's wand. This is known to be the same for all wands as a wand will only work perfectly when their chosen master is controlling them.
You should go to Harry Potter World if you like Harry Potter!
