I think it is. I'm in my early teens and i love that show! No swearing, great plot, no violence ( a couple of deaths but nothing bloody, on dude gets crushed between two rocks, and the other gets struck by lightning but doesnt go into detail). It doesn't exacly have magic... there're 4 elements and some people learn how to "bend" them. That's why they are called "Earth benders" "water bends" "air benders" and "firebenders". They can move the elements for self defense and for there own enjoyment. The plot is that a boy is the avatar (he brings balance to the world with bending all four elements) and hes only 12 years old. While he's gone, the firenation (fire benders) destroy the air nomads (air benders). He's caught in a storm and gets frozen in an iceburge. 100 years later he gets out and finds out what happens. he only knows air bending and needs to learn the other three fast before "Sozans comet" (which started the war) comes back again and gives the Fire Lord pire over the world. On his journey he runs into people who can help and people who try to destroy im. I love the show, very mature and really good. you have to watch the episodes in order or else you wont get it.
Yes it is, provided parents accompany them. The movie has some action sequences which might be a bit scary for little kids and the presence of parents is very much essential.
These days kids start playing action Video Games as early as 5 or 6 yrs of age so in most cases they should be fine. Otherwise the movie does not have any nudity or vulgarity which might be inappropriate for children.
It's rated PG-13 for intense epic battle sequences and warfare, sensuality, language and some smoking.
Well, It's not the best show for little kids but 7 and up is good. It's rated TV-Y7, so It's appropriate for children.
Well, it depends on your age. I know someone who is four and she watches it and is not scared. But some people get scared really easily, like one of my former friends. I say that you should just watch it and see for yourself. But is you ask me, it's nothing. Just a little walk in the park.
Which Avatar?
Avatar the Last Air Bender is not. There may be some things in their that is slightly innapropriate, but for the most part no.
Avatar the movie has some kissing and such but not to much, and no other innapropriate behavior, there is yelling, but no swearing.
At the cinema its rated 12. it involves swearing so i would say no
Young children should not be brought to see it. It is rated 'M15+' and contains violence, frightening or disturbing scenes and themes which young children may not understand.
yes it is appropriate
