1-Why would you phrase it as "claim?" Why would she need to lie about her Egyptian heritage.

2-Where do you think Egypt is? Apparently you don't know it is in Africa, hence looking "African..."

Wow, some really need to expand what they know about race into the broader scope of ethnicity.

No she is not black. She is Egyptian and people of such nationality are not referred to or recognized as "African" but for the "look" purpose of the person who first posed the question. Egyptians have multiple racial components with both Arab and African features although, yes, they do not identify themselves as such.
