goodluck ;-) heck yeah magic is way better than yu gi oh
I play both and I would say. If you want something to kill time with and not get to into it I would go with yugioh. But if you want something to put hours into and devote a lot of time and energy into to make a deck that's truly your own go for magic. ( my yuigoh deck I made in like 6 hours that's for tournaments. Well my magic deck I have been working on for like 12 hours and its still not done. Note: these are both for tournaments you can make a freandly deck with freands in about 2 hours top for both of these.)
I don't know but if your wanting to make a Yu-Gi-Oh card the I would go towww.yugiohcardmaker.net/and then pring the picture off from Microsoft word (ITS FREE.)
You don't 'defend with' a monster in Yu-Gi-Oh, like you do in Magic the Gathering. The attacking player is the one who chooses what his monster battles against. The defending player does not get a choice in this, he is not able to switch the attack target, unless he has an effect that lets him do so.

There certainly is a GI Jane figure, but she's a bit rarer than the GI Joe lineup.
yugioh 5ds is much better
Yea, Magic: The Gathering all the way.

It is commonly believed that the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game was based off of Magic: The Gathering.
Neither. Magic: The Gathering came out first, in 1993.Pokemon was created in 1996 and yu-Gi-oh was created in 1998.
Yes Dollarama has Pokemon, Magic the gathering, and hockey cards. ( I think they might have yu gi oh)

No just NO. If you mean the card game it was based off of Magic: The Gathering by Wizards of the Coast
"Duel Monsters", the card game from "Yu-Gi-Oh!" is in many ways, a parody of Magic: The Gathering. And, in fact, several early YGO cards make references to Magic. "Duel Masters" actually plays more like Magic than Yu-Gi-Oh! does, using a mana system to summon monsters and play cards, whereas Yu-Gi-Oh! uses a level system. Another difference is that there are no life points in Duel Masters. So short answer? No, it didn't copy Yu-Gi-Oh!, the names are just similar.

Magic: The Gathering is difficult to pick up on right off the bat. Most games like Yu-Gi-Oh are incredibly difficult to figure out strategies and be successful at.
