Well, for one thing, the graphics aren't so great, but that's okay since this is an older game. Also (though this is partly because I am terrible at racing games), it is very hard. Unlocking characters is extremely difficult (you have to find 5 tokens hidden around the track, and win the race, and then you have to race the character you're about to unlock and win.)
The only good things about Sonic R are the music ("Livin' in the City" is my favorite song) and the characters (You can play as 4 different robots, including Metal Sonic and Tails Doll, and you can even be Super Sonic!)
