Absolutely. It's a real Ruger Vaquero in .45LC. not a toy. Check with your local stocking dealer.
There are photos of both the Colt & Great Western pistols that John Wayne used at the National Cowboy Museum website.
Do you mean John Wayne? If so, what do you want to know? You haven't asked a question.
The john Wayne colt and Winchester were both issued in 1981 for the Winchester and 1982 for the colt. The colt is a SAA standard in which 3,100 were manufactured in 1982. The Winchester going by serialization is a Canadian john Wayne which the the proper serial number should indicate CJW928(not CJWC928). with 1,000 of these manufactured in 1981. You can contact me at lgood303 at yahoo if you have any further questions on these. I am a commemorative collector and your items are somewhat appealing to me if you ever choose to part ways with them. Thank you. Lance
I could find only a Bradford Mint replica non-firing rifle which was selling on EBay for $100. From what I could gather a non-firing, strictly decorative Colt 45, depending on the condition, can be around that price. The real firing gun copied exactly from Wayne's own Colt 45* can be upwards of $1000 or more if you can find one and it's in good condition. *The Colt Company made the Colt 45 replica just for Wayne which was exactly like a the late 1800's or early 1900's Colt selling at that time. The only difference was the firing pin (I think). I know little about collectable guns but I know Wayne did, the photo of his Colt was a beauty.
John Drew Colt was born on September 9, 1913, in Mamaroneck, Westchester County, New York, USA.
