While granted, it can't really be said there will neverbe one, after all who really thought there would be a Bambi 2, but considering Disney has moved away from the straight-to-dvd films & the STD Bambi 2 came out in 2006.
As of this answer in October 2014, there is no reason to believe there will ever be a third movie in the story of Bambi.
