that is a good team and you have many different types. your last Pokemon could be a ground type such as dugtrio
Well , true dragon is a dragonite, or you can have look alikes, such as : Gyarados Aerodactyl Charizard
a good, easy to obtain team (my favoritooo) is... charizard gyarados jolteon hitmonchan dragonite and nidoking DO IT!
That is a very hard question, Because everyone likes to use different pokemons. My own team (Which i really enjoy playing with) is: Charizard Alakazam Aerodactyl Gengar Gyarados (Or Dragonair) Raichu (Or other Electric Pokemon) It's a Smart Strategy to try using different Types of Pokemons, So you won't have Six Pokemons that are all Fire Type^^ Good Luck!
Red gyarados is actually a shiny pokemon so you would have to catch a shiny magicarp and evolve it in a shiny gyarados (meaning a Red gyarados)
Lance has 3 dragonites-49,49,501 gyrados-461 charizard-481 Aerodactyl-48hint use the move ice beamFrom Memory, I believe they are, Gyarados, Aerodactyl, Dragonair, and then 2 or 3 Dragonites, each one a higher level than the next.

Cynthia doesn't appear in SoulSilver. The Champion you verse is Lance. He has 3 Dragonites, a Charizard, an Aerodactyl, and a Gyarados.
the champion in gold and silver is lance. he has 3 dragonites, a charizard, a gyarados, and a aerodacty. against his aerodactyl and dragonites, you should use a strong ice Pokemon like lapris with ice beam. against his charizard and gyarados, use an ampharos with thunder punch.
he has a lv 44 gyarados,dragonitex2 both lv49,aerodactyl lv48,charizard lv48 n another dragonite lv50 after national dex salamance lv72 and garchomp lv72,dragonitlv75,charizard lv68,lv 73 altaria,gyarados lv68

In Pokémon SoulSilver, the Pokémon League Champion Lance has a level 46 Gyarados, a level 48 Charizard, 3 Dragonites which are at level 49, 49 and 50 and a Level 48 Aerodactyl.
I got heartgold.....but they are like 46 gyarados, 48 charizard, 48 aerodactyl, 49 dragonite, 49 dragonite, and 50 dragonite. (ps. alllll his dragonites are very cheap)
To get a red Gyarados in Pokemon LeafGreen you first need to catch a shiny Magikarp. This shiny Magikarp will be able to evolve into a red Gyarados. This is due to the red Gyarados simply being the shiny color of Gyarados.
Aerodactyl/Jirachi (as a lead) Electivire Magmortar Gyarados Scizor Open Spot (Suggestions?) Right now I am just worried about typing, EVs later. I see the potential hampering to a ground-type move, however I have Gyarados, possibly Aerodactyl, or "Open Spot" to bring in on a prediction and counter. Any suggestions/recommendations would be greatly appreciated (such as which is a better lead, which Pokemon to bring in/take out, or which to fill in the "Open Spot"). Thanks!
