His sister was going to hit Katara with lightning, but then Zuko had blocked her way and got hit. but Zuko was fine and Katara had defeated her and imprisoned we think so he was the last one left in the monarchy and he became Firelord eventhough he is Firelord he still serves at his uncles tea shop.
