Dave "Gunner" Gunn used to do a lot of fill-in work for The Bob & Tom Show, for when Chick McGee would be absent from the show. To correct the original answer, which was way too brief and wrong despite its too short length, it used to be Pat Carlini that would fill in for Kristi Lee around the same time frame Gunner did the same for Chick. However, neither has done so for nearly a decade now, and currently staff members Jeff Oskay and Jessica Hooker are the general fill-ins for Chick McGee and Kristi Lee, respectively. Gunner now does an afternoon show on the home station for The Bob & Tom Show, Q95 in Indianapolis, Indiana, as well as mornings for several of that station's sister stations, such as 93.3 The Eagle and 106.3 The Brew. Pat now dies freelance writing, as well as workshops and lectures at various businesses and universities around the Indianapolis area.
no,they said he was just sitting in for chick this week, tom said he was doing it "no charge" he is also a weekend DJ I believe, although he never says who he is when I have heard him, I just recognize the voice.
I guess Clear Channel (the company who owns the station) decided to get rid of him due to budget cuts. It's a bunch of bulls**t if you ask me. They did the same thing to Alex B and Nikki last year. Rumor is that X103 is going to do some kind of format change, but who knows. What really sucks is there isn't another alternative radio station in the Indy area to listen to.... This is not true at all, for one, Gunner is still with Clear Channel Inc...he's now on X103's sister station Q95. He can be heard on Saturday and Sunday nights dj'ing for the Q. Alex B was fired due to sexual harassment against Nikki and they decided to eliminate the source of the problem, the both of them. Now Deuce is "The Show" as the term is used in radio. And the X is not even contemplating a format change since they are the only alternative station in Indy.
