if you are trying to battle chikorita, i would choose to go to mystifying forest. you get to go there after you beat primal dialga and after the end credits. if you want to get, one, i would recomend doing a job. i got my chikorita that way without it being my partner. cause honestly, getting a chikorita in mystifying forest is hard work
