Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, and Crystal can trade between themselves. Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Firered, and Leafgreen can trade between themselves. Games from list 1 cannot connect with list 2.

If you mean using stones on a Pokemon such as Vulpix or Growlithe, then yes. Those types of Pokemon evolve that way, thus getting higher stat gains. You cannot use stones on any Pokemon though. Only Pokemon that can evolve using those stones. See related links for a list.

Most Pokemon evolve by levelling up. It would be a waste of time to list all of the ones that evolve at certain levels.

This is a high preformed list please search this at google
Go to "My Pokemon tab" and click on one of your Pokemon, a list will pop up, where the list say available evolve it will say none or there will be a link that says YES! which you can click on to evolve
