My class wanted to prove to me the Athena was not a virgin because we are reading Percy Jackson and Annabeth is Athena's daughter and is not a virgin but I said it is just a book so is she a virgin?

In real Greek Mythology Athena is one of the virgin goddesses. She is not a virgin in the Percy Jackson series because Rick Riordan wanted there to be clash between Annabeth and Percy because of the rivalry between Athena and Poseidon.

When Annabeth and Percy found her she wanted to kill Annabeth because she reminded Medusa of Athena who she holds a grudge against.
