It's a drink given to those who are in pain which makes them fall into a dreamless sleep, made from opiates from poppies.Roy Dotrice- the Narrator for the Audiobooks- pronounces Poppy to sound like Puppy, but it's "Milk of The Poppy" which is an opiate akin to Laudanum or Heroin or Opium which are all extracted from the Poppy plant. I do love the sound of the phrase "Milk of The Puppy" however incorrect.

Let your puppy drink as often as it wants to, it's not going to drink for the sake of it - the puppy will drink because it needs to.
it depends on the drink
when a dog or puppy has a dry nose, it means that the dog/puppy is sick. when my dog was a puppy, she had a dry nose often, but also didn't much and didn't act sick. if your puppy does not drink water often, try having it drink a bit first, if this doesn't help, i would see a vet.
You really should get this puppy looked at by someone who knows what to do, for instance a vet (veterinary surgeon). Do so urgently, because the puppy may be very weak.
Yes, they drink milk.
A puppy should be introduced to water as you start to wean it onto solid foods.
Nothing happens. The puppy will be ok.
yes it is becaues it has no milk to drink
While vomiting it might be helpful to drink a glass of water but I think is better not to drink water because it may cause you to make you vomit even worse so It would be better not to drink water
They breathe and eat and drink.
I have bile related headaches many times. The solution that works for me always, is to drink about a gallon of water and induce vomiting.
uh anytime you want. when you vomit, unless you drink salt water before, you lose all of your water. you can drink it anytime after vomiting, why couldn't you? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Actually, if you vomit, you SHOULD drink water, and a good bit of it. Obviously don't drink so much that you end up vomiting again, but diarrhea and vomiting are the 2 situations where dehydration becomes lethal. I'd suggest to keep sipping water (no big gulps, it'll upset both your esophagus and stomach) until you feel comfortable in your stomach region. Any chronic vomiting or uncontrollable/constant vomiting should be analyzed by a doctor, and not searched on the internet. >_<
