Chapter 14: "I Become a Known Fugitive"
Well obviously Percy becomes a fugitive. Annabeth and Grover have to sneak out of the Gateway Arch after it's destroyed from Percy's fight with Enchidna. There is a crowd of people and news reporters saying a boy, of Percy's description, was the one that blew up the arch. So, Percy has to sneak out of the arch too so he doesn't get noticed. Unfortunately the chapter is short too so, the end.
It's About a Boy named Percy Jackson who just finds out he's a demigod and his father gets framed for taking Zeus's master bolt and Hades's realm of darkness so him and a demigod named Annabeth and a satyr named Grover try to clear Poseidon's name.
Everyone hates it unless they fell for the lie that it was not copied.
Here is something that the Horn Book said: "Packed with humorous allusions to Greek mythology...along with rip-snorting action sequences, this book really shines."
Good book. Entertaining, if you like greek myths. One of my favorites.
I LOVE THIS WHOLE SERIES
i think that it is on going, mavalous and lots of action
In THE LIGHTNING THIEF, he's 12. THE SEA OF MONSTERS, 13. THE TITANS CURSE(which I'm currently on), 14. THE BATTLE OF THE LABYRINTH, still 14. THE LAST OLYMPIAN, 15-16. He turns 16 at the end of THE LAST OLYMPIAN.
He is 13 years old. I'm pretty sure it says it right on the back cover of the book. -- He's actually 12 in the Lightning Theif. (13 in the second book, 14 and then turns 15 at the end of the fourth book, and 15 and then turns 16 in the last book.)
Annabeth was born in 1993. She's seven years old when she runs away from home Twelve years old when she meets Percy (in the Lightning Thief) And by the end of the series (The Last Olympian) she in 16 and a half. Same age as Percy, 17 because last year was 2009 so she was 16 then and 17 now.
Of what book? There are 7.
yay
Chapter 14 of "The Lightning Thief" makes several allusions to Greek mythology, such as the mention of Daedalus and Icarus when Percy and his friends navigate the Labyrinth. The characters also encounter the river Lethe, which is referenced in Greek mythology as the river of forgetfulness. Additionally, there are allusions to Harry Potter with references to Hagrid and Hermione during their visit to Medusa's garden.
