yes. he was in born some time in the 1800s. and i am fairly sure that the 1800s is the 19th century. you know he is born in the 1800s because he meets Catherine in 1886 (i think. atleast its sometime around that time) and he was about 18 then and not a vampire so therefore he was born in the 19th century:)
hope this helps!
The Salvatore brothers, Damon and Stefan, are fictional characters from the "The Vampire Diaries" series. They were born in the 19th century, with Stefan born in 1846 and Damon in 1839, making them over 170 years old by the time the series begins. However, because they are vampires, they don’t age in the traditional sense. Their physical appearance remains that of young men in their late 20s.

Stephen Salvatore is a main character in the CW's hit show, The Vampire Diaries. He is a vampire who was born in the 19th century but has given up drinking human blood. He is in a constant fight with his brother, Damon, over his choice to only kill animals for food. Stephen is in love with Elaina, a human girl that resembles the vampire that turned him.
A few years older than Stefan, who is 162 years old, so I guess he would be around 166 years old.
