To get a snorlax you first put honey on a sweet honey tree. After 12 hours go back to the tree and see what pokemon is there. Munchlax is rare but when you find it and catch it give it friendship. You can give it friendship by giving it a massage and items like calcium,zinc, etc. After a certain amount of friendship grow it by one level and it will evolve into a snorlax.
Or, you can always trade for a snorlax/munchlax.

∙ 14y agoYou must either evolve it from a Munchlax (evolves at max happiness), or transfer one from Firered/Leafgreen or through XD (Gamecube game, must transfer to GBA game then transfer through Pal Park). You can also get one traded to you from Heartgold or Soulsilver.
