in Pokemon emerald, by the end of the game, there is this idiot guy called the fossil maniac in his house on route 114 (just west of follobar town) and this idiot has dug a tunnel out the back of his house, into a nearby mountain. when he is finished (at the end of the storyline) there is a big tunnel he has dug, and at the end, there is an entranse to a cave called "desert underpass" which is just CRAWLING with level 41-43 ditto. they are not easy catches though.
for Pokemon diamond/pearl, you will have to migrate ditto from emerald.
In DP you can find them on rt. 218. You have to use the poke rader to find it.

∙ 10y agoDitto can be found in the Pokémon Village, which is the flowery place near Snowbelle City, where you catch Mewtwo.
Alternatively, if you have enough Friend Codes registered on your Nintendo 3DS, you may find a Ditto in the Friend Safari located in Kiloude City. Each friend has a Pokémon type associated with him/her so you just need to visit a Normal-type safari but please keep in mind that each safari can only have two to three unchangeable Pokémon.

∙ 12y agoi don't think you can because da only thing ditto is good for is breeding and you can only have 1 Pokemon in the daycare, so there is no point in putting one in the game.
