What Childcare options are available if your Walt Disney World resort doesnt offer a kids camp or club?

Taking a sleepy kid on a 60 or 90 minute monorail or boat ride to a distant resort, and back again, can be a nightmare. First of all, if you�re sure you will need childcare several times, ask about the facilities before booking your resort. The Polynesian resort has an especially nice program, called �Neverland.� If you�re stuck, consider Kinder-care for daytime or an in-room babysitter for evenings. Kinder-care takes a limited number of walk-ins at their Disney location. Most children there have parents who are Disney employees. They�re open from 6 am to 9 pm Mon- Fri and 6 am to 6 pm Saturday and Sunday. Three Orlando area companies offer bonded, insured, trained child care in your room. They are All About Kids, Kid�s Nite Out and Fairy Godmothers. Many of the child care professionals employed by these companies have been with them for more than 10 years. They usually bring books or coloring books and games. They�ll also take your child to the parks or special events, provided you pay all the admissions and fees. Even if the resort you are staying at does not have kids club, you can make reservations at one of the resorts that does. Visitors staying at that resort get preference, but you can still call 1-407-WDW-DINE to make reservations. If you let the cast member know where you are planning on going, they can help you choose a kids club that will be most convenient for you.
