Varan has only appeared beside Godzilla in Destroy all Monsters as a spectator.
Depends on which movie you're talking about. In his first appearance, Rodan the Flying Monster, both Rodans die. Despite this, Rodan returns in Ghidorah: The Three Headed Monster, and survives the rest of the Showa continuity. In the Heisei continuity, he appears only in Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla 2, where he does die. In the Millennium series, he appears only in Godzilla: Final Wars, where he does not die. He is one of only three monsters who fight Godzilla and live in this movie. In the Legendary series, Rodan appears in Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019), and he lives in that movie.
1. godzilla 2. Frankenstein
The original Godzilla movie, titled Godzilla, or Godzilla: King of The Monsters!, was directed by the late Ishirō Honda.

It's called "Gojira" in Japan, but it's called "Godzilla King of the Monsters" in America.
There was 4 monsters in Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters all out Attack. The monsters are called Godzilla, which who makes a reference to the 1998 Godzilla. Mothra, who now actually looks scary. King Ghidorah,Who should have never been in this movie because he all ready died in Godzilla Destroy all monsters, which took place in 1999. And Baragon, who doesn't really fight like a monster. There's also the 1000 year old dragon...i think... not sure which movie your talking about... there are a lot of movies with that title.no there isent
Godzilla
in the movie godzilla vs destoroyah, and godzilla jr made an appearance but was killed by destoroyah In actuality Godzilla has died twice during his long lasting movie career. The first time was in the original Japanese movie (Gojira)(1954). The gizmo that killed the "King of the Monsters" was a device called "The Oxygen Destroyer" which took the oxygen out of sea water. When set off at Godzilla's feet the result was all of the monsters flesh being eaten away leaving just his skeleton. The second time, as mentioned above, was in the movie "Godzilla vs Destroyah" (1995)(Destroyah being a monster spawned from the use of the Oxygen Destroyer). This time around it was Godzilla's own radioactivity that got the best of him and he actually had a melt down ... really, just like a nuclear power plant meltdown.
