The Harry Potter books form a continuing story; it is best to start with book 1, then continue with book 2, etc.
Yes! The Harry Potter books are wonderful for pre-teens ages 10 and up, but may be a little dark for younger ages. J.K. Rowling does an amazing job when writing the Harry Potter books. There are 7 Harry Potter Books in the series: Year One: Harry Potter and the Philospher's Stone (or the Socerer's Stone) Year Two: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Year Three: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Year Four: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Year Five: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phonix Year Six: Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince Year Seven: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows All of the books are good, and so are the Harry Potter movies! But remember, always read the book first because the movies don't go into much detail as the books do!
Yes, in the last book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Harry is saying good-bye to the Dursleys forever and Dudley tells Harry that he doesn't think he is a waste of space.
The Tales of Beedle the Bard was released on December 4, 2008. It is not a book about the adventures of Harry Potter, but it was part of the plot in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It included several fairy tale style short stories. The last book in the main series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was released in 2007.
In what ways is the final resolution of the whole Harry Potter series foreshadowed in the first chapter? This is actually a good question for the first chapter of any book.

good book.
The 7th Harry Potter book is called "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'. The movies are the same except they are split in 2 parts. Good book and a good movie. If you have not read the book series, you have some reading to do! Unless you read them you will understand nothing. Good luck
Yes, he is good.. Read the 7th book.

I would recommend Harry Potter. I have read both, and Harry Potter is better in the way that you really connect with the characters as you read about their journey through life. While Enchanted is a good book, Harry Potter will leave you begging for more.
All of the seven Harry Potter books, in my opinion, are fantastic! My absolute favorite is Prizoner Of Azkaban.
Dobby dies in the final book. For good.
