your rival would pick a water type Pokemon which is a squirtle
If you were to go to the Safari Zone there are some Pokemon that are hard to catch such as Kangaskhan, Rhyhorn, Taurus, Dratini, Pinsir, and Chansey. You can't battle the Pokemon in the Safari Zone, you have to throw safari balls on them. The hardest Pokemon to catch are Kangaskhan, Taurus, and Rhyhorn. I don't know why you can't battle the Pokemon there.
one way is your rivals, black tower might have some but their pokemon will not be registered in your pokedex same with white treehollow, the battle subway has some trainers with starter pokemon, your friends and family that play pokemon may have some, try to get them all! hope it helped.
No. The only Pokemon you receive from professor elm are your starter (cyndaquil, chikorita, totodile) and togepi. however, you can receive a kanto starter from prof. oak in pallet town and a hoenn starter from steven stone in silph co after defeating red at the peak of mount silver.
no you cant it is against the rules.
There ar two rivals in diamond and pearl. Lewis the professors assistant has the third one and you battle him early on :)

Yes you can by using action replay to catch your rivals starter Pokemon with the code for catching trainers Pokemon
Which ever one effects your rivals Pokemon the best
move it to the front of your party and talk to your rivals little sisster in pallet town right by your housifh
yes they do, but the highest lvl Pokemon you will face is no more than 75 which is your rivals starter Pokemon
You can only catch treeko as a starter Pokemon or fight it on your rivals team if you choose mudkip.
that's impossible the only way to get ANY STARTER POKEMON in ANY game is to trade with your friends, then have them start a new game, pick the Pokemon that you don't have, then you trade it.
i would catch shinx or i would catch the opposite type of your rivals starter/ I Would catch a starly (die hard metallica fan)
unless you can trade for starters you are good you can catch them in the wild except the starters and if you are using vba you will have to find a code for that starter.
