No. Robert Wadlow was the tallest man in recorded history, and because of his enormous stature, he had poor blood circulation in his legs, so he couldn't feel them and he had to wear leg braces. When he was on tour for the International Shoe Company, after walking in a 4th of July parade, an infected blister he had, but again, couldn't feel, worsened, and he colapsed on the bed of his room at the Hotel Chippewa in Manistee MI. For the next 10 days, he was treated in that bed with blood transfusion, and with a fever never dropping below 105. He died in his sleep at 1:30AM on July 14, 1940.
