here's the list and where to get them- HM01-Cut-Get the S.S. Ticket from Bill and then go to Vermilion City. There is a port before Diglett's cave. A sailor will allow you onto a ship named the S.S. Anne. Explore for a bit and then go up the staircase on the left hand side from the first entrance. From there, go down and then turn right. Keep heading that way, and then turn up. Your rival will battle you. Defeat him and head up the staircase. A seasick captain awaits you. All you need to do is give him a backrub and he'll award you with Cut, giving you access to Lt. Surge's gym. HM02-Fly-When you get to Celadon, bring a Pokemon with Cut and start heading towards the Cycling Road. You should see a small tree that can be Cut down. Slice it down and head into that area. There are two trainers who battle you, but otherwise, there's a house next to you. Go in, and there's a girl who will give you FLY in exchange for being quiet about her whereabouts. HM03-Surf-The prize house inside the Safari Zone. (Hint-to the right, you can find the Warden's gold teeth!) HM04-Strength-From the Warden in Fushia. You have to find his gold teeth in the Sarfari Zone and give them to him in his house by the fisherman's house. HM05-Flash-On Route 2, there's a gate you go in and there's an Aide for Oak. Talk to him and if you've caught enough Pokemon, he'll give you Flash, which allows you to pass through Rock Tunnel. (use diglett's cave if you don't have Fly) HM06-Rock Smash (after defeat Blaine)-Bill will take you to some islands after you have beaten Blaine. After helping him and Celio, go north (surf needed) to the Mt. Ember springs. Inside, talk to everyone (no one battles you) There is a man who gives it to you. However, you need to beat Giovanni in his gym before you can use it. HM07-Waterfall-(after elite 4) On Four Island, go to the Icefall Cave. Eventually, you'll get to Waterfall. You don't need a gym badge, so you can just use it.

You have to use the TM Case.. In the Key Pocket in your bag.
Talk to EVERYBODY, sometimes there are secret houses or areas with people that will give them to you.

Look around! It's easier once you beat the Eilite four and get all the Hms If you can give your PKMN items that attract Pokemon and run in the tall grass for a while that should make it easier.
