Johnny Depp was born on June 9, 1963 in Owensboro, Kentucky. His mom, Betty Sue Palmer named him John Christopher DeppII after his father, John Christopher Depp. He has a brother named Danny, two sisters named Christie, his personal manager, and Debbie. His family and him moved 20 times in 1970 in Miramar, Florida. Then in 1978 his parents divorced. The stress made him harm himself and has seven scars from doing it. When he was 12 he played in various garage bands which one of them was in honor of his girlfriend Meredith. Johnny Depp dropped out of school in 1979 an became a rock musician. His band was named The Kids but was changed to Six Gun Method. Right before a signing a record deal the band broke up.
