Lord Voldemort orders Quirinus Quirrell to take the stone from him, but Quirrell cannot touch Harry without receiving terrible burns. Harry takes advantage of this and touches Quirrell's face, causing him great pain. Albus Dumbledore arrives just as Harry passes out. He saves both Harry and the stone, Quirrell dies and Voldemort flees.
Dumbledore and Nicolas Flamel agree to destroy the stone.
The main conflict in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is Lord Voldemort and Professor Quirrell's attempt to steal the philosopher's stone. This is resolved when Harry, Ron and Hermione go down the trapdoor and Professor Quirrell dies trying to murder Harry and steal the stone. With his death, the stone is saved and Voldemort's return is delayed.
Other conflicts happen between Harry and Snape, Harry and the Draco plus Harry and the Dursley's. These are on-going throughout the whole of the series and are resolved in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
The internal conflict is Harry struggling to feel accepted in the wizarding world and coming to terms with his being famous for something he cannot remember. This is partly resolved when he wins the first Quidditch match as Harry feels like he has achieved something that he can be known for. The feeling goes away when he saves the philosopher stone and once again defeats Lord Voldemort.
