There is a magazine named after him, the saying "Hotter than Hades" however this saying is very incorrect, the three headed dog in Harry Potter is his pet, possibly portrayed as Voldermort, the Lightning thief series is based of greek mythology and the first book is about the abduction of Persephone by Zeus and Hades.
In the Lightning Thief the antagonists are Luke, Cronus (or Titans but mainly Cronus), Zeus, Hades, Ares, and some other people working for the Titans. P.S.- if this is for school don't just watch the movie, because it is nothing like the book. The movie tried and failed to clash the books of the Percy Jackson series.
