she was selfless/ compassionate as she risked her life supplying food, medicine, money, and messages to the British Prisoners-Of-War.

She was loyal. She did not betray Singapore by giving information to the Japanese despite being tortured really badly (slapped, kicked at, spat at , electric shock treatment).

i think u can say she was courageous/ strong. Being kept in a 4mx5m cell for 193 days is really torturing and she had to share it with 20 ppl, plus she's like the only female there.
