Appearance characteristics include (for example) black, white, tall, short, fat, thin, male, female, old, young.
Personality characteristics include likes and dislikes, preferred ways of doing things, tastes.
Knowledge characteristics include everything a person knows or does not know. One's knowledge may include poetry or history or gardening, etc.
Skills are what the person knows how to do - carpentry, shoot a gun, cook a meal, etc.
Abilities include a person's talents - piano, singing, spotting wildlife.
Speech includes a person's language, accent, vocabulary.
Emotional state includes a person's excitability, agitation, calmness, anger, confusion.
Tendencies include left or right-handedness, muttering, cleaning, polishing, scratching, biting.
A human being is extremely complex and ever-changing. Some characteristics are definite and fixed forever (or nearly so) like sex, eye color. Some characteristics are easily measured like weight. Some characteristics are easily observed, like language and some abilities. Other characteristics are subject to opinion and might be different day by day, like emotional state and facial affect.
To be as Christ like as is humanly possible. That is the ideal character to have, unfortunately men go the way of the world so becoming to worldly. Their character become less acceptable to God and their fellow beings.Few men have an impeccable character, though basically they are good.
