In "The Hunger Games," Katniss Everdeen immediately notices several unnatural attributes in her surroundings, including the stark contrast between the opulence of the Capitol and the impoverished districts. She observes the artificiality of the Capitol's inhabitants, with their exaggerated fashion and cosmetic modifications, which highlight a superficiality that feels alien to her. Additionally, the controlled environment of the arena, with its engineered dangers and manipulations, underscores the unnaturalness of her situation. These observations deepen her understanding of the oppressive nature of the Capitol's power.
Because they notice that they all look like all the 22 tributes
Katniss immediately notices that the muttations have a disturbing resemblance to the deceased tributes, particularly their eyes, which reflect a haunting familiarity. Their unnatural combination of human and animal features creates an eerie and unsettling presence. Additionally, their behavior is unnervingly coordinated and aggressive, further highlighting their engineered nature. This blend of human likeness and animal ferocity underscores the Capitol's cruel manipulation of life.
Katniss storms off after her 'episode' where she flipped out because nobody took notice of her in her private session and she managed to shoot an apple out of the pig's mouth on the table for the gamemakers etc. All tributes find out their training scores to which Katniss scores 11/12, the highest score of this games and higher than all of the Careers. Haymitch then alerts Katniss that Peeta has asked to be coached separately and Katniss feels betrayed.
At the Cornucopia, Katniss noticed that Finnick was both confident and vulnerable. He appeared to be a skilled and charismatic fighter, but she also sensed a deep emotional pain beneath his charming exterior. His interactions with others highlighted his complexity, as he navigated the treacherous environment with a mix of bravado and underlying sorrow. This duality intrigued Katniss, making her more aware of the burdens he carried despite his outward demeanor.
she volenteers for her sister, she and peeta make it to the end. most traditional tributes take no notice of the others and just kill them. Katniss actutally felt something for some of them, like Thresh and Rue. and she actually liked her fellow tribute

in the first book, she stands out as a tribute. people notice her because of her unique personality and they like it. katniss is one of the favorite tributes. in later books, they look up to her as a symbol of hope in the rebellion, while the government sees her as a threat to panem.

From memory, she woke up because she heard a noise, just to notice that some dumb tribute has lit a fire at night. A few minutes later, Katniss hears a scream and stays very quiet while the careers walk directly under her.
When Katniss was hungry she looked through Peeta's trash and is mean mother drove her away. Then Peeta intentionally burned loaves and took a beating so he could give them to Katniss. (Also they were in the same Kindergarden school and above and Peeta noticed her but she didn't notice him). Katniss finds Peeta in the book, right after Claudius Templesmith announces 2 tributes can win. She finds him on accident really, just following the stream, hoping it will lead to him and almost steps on him because he was camouflaged so well.
In "The Hunger Games", Katniss killed Marvel and shot Cato in the hand with arrows. Peeta never really killed anyone; the majority of the tributes were killed in the beginning of the Games because they headed right for the Cornucopia.
Peeta loved Katniss since they were in kindergarden, on the first day of school his dad told him, "hey look that's the daughter of the woman i was gonna marry, but she ran off with a coal mioner bc when he sang all the birds would be quiet and listen" and then Katniss sang during music class that day and all the birds got quiet and Peeta loved her bc she could sing so good
Notice Is A Notice
notice is a verb. They notice everything we do.
*Spoiler Alert* She goes to the capital with Peeta Mallarck, the boy tribute, who has had a crush on her for a long time, only she doesn't know it. One by one, the other contestants are killed, leaving only her, Peeta, and a dangerous tribute from another district. The gamemakers announce that this year, two tributes can win if they are from the same district. After the other tribute dies, they expect to be taken to the Capitol, but the Gamemakers announce that they have changed the rules back and only one tribute may win. Katniss realizes that they have to have a winner, so she gives both Peeta and herself poisonous berries and, at the last moment, the Gamemakers panic and allow them both to live. However, the Capitol thinks that she is trying to mock them, and her only excuse is that she was too hopelessly in love to notice. So she and Haymitch have to convince everyone that she is totally in love, even Peeta, who believes it. But at the end, he finds out that she was faking it (or was she?) and things get awkward. But this is the start of the rebellion against the Capitol.
