He was killed during the moving of Harry Potter to the Weasleys (via the Tonks') when Mundungus Fletcher disapparated and the killing curse aimed at him hit Moody instead.it is so sad that he died .j.k rolling did not want him to go instead thay want him to be the one to sly tne snake but he had to go to londen for is sisters wendng.
